A little about Musa

Hello! My name Karen, pronounced Kah-Ren. I have been in the cosmetology space and professionally applying nails for 9 years. I attended cosmetology school while in high school and continued my education and earned my teacher’s license in cosmetology. Although, my goal and dream has always been to open my own business. I have taken several certification courses over the years within prestige nail brands and nail educators. About 2-3 years into my career I decided to go to Mexico for 2 months to attend nail school where I learned and discovered an artistic approach to the nail industry. I decided to move to Pittsburgh to advance my experience in the art craft of nails. My passion grew more and more. In the midst of the pandemic in 2020, I decided it was time to come back home to Erie to begin my journey of opening my business, Musa Salon & Spa.

The nail industry has advanced and grown just as much as hair and skin. I believe it is time for Erie, PA to have a nail salon that can provide the nail trends we see all over social media. I created a system to train our nail artists monthly to perfect their skills and techniques to offer the best quality service for our guests.
